Žižkovský televizní vysílač

The Žižkov Television Tower is a prominent modern landmark located in the Žižkov district of Prague, Czech Republic. Built in the late 1980s, the tower stands at 216 meters tall and is the tallest building in the city. The tower's design is characterized by its futuristic, space-age appearance, with several metal pillars protruding from the central shaft. Despite its controversial design, the tower has become a popular tourist attraction and offers some of the best panoramic views of Prague. Visitors can take a high-speed elevator to the top of the tower, where they can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city from the observation deck. In addition to its observation deck, the tower houses a restaurant and a luxury one-room hotel. The tower is also notable for its unusual decoration of crawling babies sculptures, designed by Czech artist David Černý, which were added to the tower's exterior in 2000. The 10 giant babies are climbing up and down the tower, with some hanging from its edges. The Žižkov Television Tower is a must-see destination for visitors to Prague, not only for its stunning views, but also for the unique and playful addition of the babies sculptures that have become a beloved symbol of the city.
